Summary curriculum: Summary curriculum: Holds a degree in Electrical Engineering by the Federal Center of Technological Education of Minas Gerais (1988) and a Phd in Physics from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1995). He is currently Full Professor at the Federal University of Santa Catarina. Has experience in the area of Optics, working mainly on the following topics: use of entangled photons from parametric down conversion in the study of fundamental concepts of Quantum Mechanics and applications to Quantum Information.
