Quantum Thermodynamics

The quantum thermodynamics studies the role of quantum and thermal fluctuations in quantum systems, as well the extension of thermodynamics to the quantum regime. Also studies the thermodynamics behaviour on transition from quantum regime to classical.

Quantum thermodynamics research also underpins technological developments that miniaturise to the nano and quantum scale of the thermal machines. As well as applications in nano and quantum machines, data storage, quantum computation and communication.
